Halloween Tag Part Two

I just did part one...so here's part two! Check out the original by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfWTQOwmWOw7.Favorite Halloween candy?
I can only think of candy corn. And I HATE candy corn. I ABSOLUTELY HATE CANDY CORN! I prefer like, caramel popcorn. Because I don't like candy corn.
8.Do you decorate your house!
On the inside, my mom puts out a few decorations, and we make a jack-o-lantern.
9.Least favorite costume
Ones that make me look butt ugly.
10.Have u ever repeated a costume and what was it?
Yes. The Hello Kitty one that I mentioned in part one, I was a witch for like three years in a row, and this year if I go I'll be a nerd, like I was last year
11.Do you believe in ghosts?
Yeabsolutely. Have you read the most recent issue of 17?
12.Scariest Halloween
I remember when I was like five I went to this Halloween party at my church w my family and I went through the haunted house portion and someone stuck out their hand an grabbed my leg. Then I screamed and they had to turon the lights....bwahaha.

Oh, I tag you guys, thanks for reading, srry this wasn't that interesting...I'm trying to think up more interesting ideas for my blog! Let me know if you have any!

Halloween Tag Part 1

MissGlamorazzi and JoeyGraceffa on YouTube made a Halloween tag. And guess what? Now I'm sharing my answers. Here's their part 1 of 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHIkHTE6HDw&feature=channel_video_title
1. Favorite Halloween movie?
I think the only Halloween movies I've ever seen were those Twitches movies and the Halloweentown ones. The Twitches ones always scared me...I remember watching that for the first time on vacay in Florida...surprisingly I slept well. But I love scary movies, even if they scare me so much I can't sleep or go anywhere alone for weeks. So, I guess my answer is Twitches 2.
2. What age did you stop trick-or-treating?
I still am...I'm in my last year of MS. I don't think I will though this year...long story. Well, basically I really wanna go w my friend but apparently I'm not allowed to, plus whenever I dress up in costume I look ridiculous. I was a nerd last year. Sigh.
3. Favorite Halloween costume you have worn?
All mine like suck, hahaha. But when I was four my mom spent a month making a Hello Kitty costume...I wore that like three years in a row, until it got too small.
4. What are you going to be this year?
If I really have to... me and my friend are gonna be matching nerds. But I kinda wanna be Smurfette, the exact dress Katy Perry wore! So so pretty. But I think I'll end up as a nerd if I do go trick-or-treating.
5. Do you like going to haunted attractions?
YES!!! They terrify me when people like jump out of nowhere or hands come from nowhere...but I like it, even though after that I can't go anywhere alone for weeks, lol.
6. Vampires or werewolves?
Werewolves. At least they don't suck my blood. Oh, and I'm Team Jacob, btw.

Ode to Joy on Acoustic Guitar

I fail at the title of this blog post. We're learning guitar in music class...and I fail so badly. I can play the first line pretty much no problem...we only have to play lines 1 and 3 for the evaluation...because 1,2, and 4 are basically the same. I cannot play line three. I can play the first measure, I know it's third fret second string, third fret second string, open on first string, and then I think it's like first fret second string then isn't it like third fret second again, the first note in the second measure of the third line? Sorry if that's confusing to you. I really really love guitar, but I'm super slow at learning it and I fail at playing this third line...the evaluation is next Tuesday, I have just one more class before the evaluation, which really sucks, because I think I'll fail. And another part of the evaluation is playing the G scale, and then playing it backward. I didn't even try that yet... I had better not fail this class. I love the song and I think it sounds great...but I cannot play it. I'm so so bad at playing this third line of Ode to Joy, the second to fourth measures...I can't move my fingers between the strings that well - and it's only two strings! I suck at guitar, hahaha. And that's all we'll be doing the whole music class, pretty much. Sigh. I attached a YT vid of the song. I really wish I could play this good.

POST NUMBER 250!

Hi! Guess what...today's a really important  milestone for my blog! Because guess what...this is post number 250? I have a pretty good idea for what to blog about on this one...I was thinking I rewrite my blog intro. Like the first ever blog post I did for this blog. Like I'm welcoming you to it, but this one could be more...detailed and might help you get a better idea of what my blog is, was, and will be about...I hope you don't think that's stupid... lol. Followers, thank you so so so much for following this blog! It means a lot to me that you take the time to read this!!

Welcome to my blog. I'm Ali, except not really, because, guess what? I'm not exactly allowed to give out my real name, so I picked Ali as my alias, inspired after my favorite TV show, Pretty Little Liars. I hope you like that show if you're reading this blog, because it's something I tend to blog about an awful lot. Along with fashion trends, and tips, and my beauty wishlists and fashion wishliss and makeup swatches...I also sometimes blog about random things, like what's going on in my lie, or what I did that day. Oh, and I blog about music and food too, two of my loves! I really hope you love my blog as much as I love you for reading this(: If you wanna request something for me to blog about, you totes can! Thank you for reading my intro that's not actually an intro...xoxo, "Ali"

So, there. Another intro, that's not really an intro. I didn't exactly know what else to say, because, really, what else is there to put i a blog post? Exactly. Nothing else I can really think of. Say welcome, introduce yourslf, introduce the blog...a;ll that fun stuff, lol. Sigh. I hope you enjoyed and I apologize if you did not like my 250th blog post. Anyway, thank yousss to everyone who sat at there computer or stared a their iPod touch/iPhone screen, etc. and took a few minutes to read my blog...I'm sure that few minutes could've been used better elsewhere...so, thanks again! xo

Art...Feet?

So, I'm taking this extra art class thing...this advanced art thing...which is kind of cool because I love art and I like being able to say I'm in this "advanced" art class. Well, I still have a regular art class. This is just this extra class thing that I was invited to be in. I did this last year too but with a different teacher. There's two art teachers at my school. And this year, for our first assignment, the topic is feet. It can be anything, any profile (ex. pencil, marker, colored pencils, watercolor, pastel, etc) and anything at all, as long as the image is of some type of feet...human feet, penguin feet, pig feet, whatever...as long as it's feet. I'm trying to decide what I want to do...we're supposed to base our feet after a picture, so using Google I found two pictures I'm trying to decided between. I'm gonna post them here, and you guys can tell me what to do! Also, I want to know what profile...I was thinking I wanna try stippling, but I've never done that before and have heard it's hard. I could also stick with black and white, just plain old pencil. I'm not sure at all what I'd like to try, probably something that could allow me to be very detailed...because that's one thing I love when it comes to art, is detail. Love detail. It makes the artwork look more realistic. Oh, and this is allowed to be abstract, too, but I personally prefer it to be realistic rather than abstract. I'm still not sure exactly what I want...I want it to be something I can make look really good. I'm best at pencil drawings, but I want to add some color to this one. Colored pencil, maybe? I have no idea! Please leave comments as to what picture I should base mine off of and also what profile! I hope that's the right word, btw. Our art teacher says "profile" but I haven't heard that word used like that before....oh well. Thanks in advance if you tell me your opinions! xoxo
Let's say this one is Option A. I love everything about this one, but it's very detailed and I'm not sure this one would come easy to me! It's an amazing photo though and I think it would be interesting and would come out beautifully!

And let's call this one Option B. I love this one too - I think this one would be easier to do than Option A, but I think I like the feel to Option A a little more. What drew me to this one was the baby sea turtles...they're sooo cute!

NARS Cosmetics Wishlist

A while back, I did a post talking about the top five products on my MAC wishlist...well today, I'm doing another wishlist, just like that one, only with the brand NARS. I have not yet tried anything from NARS, but 've heard a ton of great things about the brand and really would like to try a few NARS products. NARS is a little more expensive than MAC, but supposedly NARS is well worth it. http://www.narscosmetics.com
5. NARS Laguana Bronzing Powder
This is one of what NARS considers one of thir cult classics...well actually 3 of the 5 on this list are cult classics...lol. But this is a very nice shade of bronzer and I've heard a lot of good reviews and seen amazing swatches of this one! This one is in quite a few of the YouTube videos I watch and it is a very pretty bronzer that looks like it would go great with my skintone. Very pretty bronzer, that's for sure...but it's $33, quite expensive for a bronzer, dontcha think?

4. NARS Lip Gloss - Striptease
This lip gloss is the first of two lipglosses - I saw a blog post on line containing swatches of both Striptease and my number one NARS product on my wishlist - this one looked beautiful as well, slightly less pink and a bit more shimmery, definitely a very pretty lipgloss! This one made the blogger's lips look very pretty and shimmery and overall very nice. This lipgloss is described as a candlelight nude - and that's almost exactly what it is. $24.

3. NARS Blush - Orgasm
This is the first of two NARS blushes on this wishlist. Orgasm is described as a peachy pink with golden shimmer, and is just a little bit lighter than the next blush on this wishlist. It is really pretty and I love how shimmery this one is. This blush looks absolutely beautiful online and the color looks so pretty and perfect if you were looking for a light pink blush - very girly and pretty! Looks so nice and it would be perfect with my everyday makeup look! However, it is $27...

2. NARS Blush - Deep Throat
Deep Throat is one of the most popular NARS blushes. It is super pretty and looks like it would go great with any skintone for nearly any occasion. It is really pretty and is described as a flirty, sheer peach, which is definitely the kind of blush I'm looking for. It is very very pretty and I don't think there is any way to go wrong with this. NARS blushes are known for great quality, which is expected, because after all, these blushes are a tad expensive at $27.

1. NARS Lip Gloss - Turkish Delight
This one isn't really a surprise. This is described as a pink sherbet and is a very pretty NARS classic that I am dying to try out. Kim Kardashian also loves this gloss! The price is a bit high at $24, but if it iss good as it is said to be, and if there's a lot of product, this gloss may be worth it! I have heard nothing but amazing reviews on this.

Burt's Bees Super Glossy Lip Gloss - Sweet Pink Review and Swatches

Review/swatches number three for the day...for Burt's Bees Super Glossy Lip Shine in Sweet Pink. I bought this product quite a while ago and I like it so I wanted to review it...the applicator is one of those squeezy tube things. I actually prefer the doe foot applicator but I do like this one too. It smells really nice and citrus-y, exactly like orange juic, and I've always loved the scent of that. The reviews online say it feels like it has sand in it. I personally have not found that I have this problem? this lip gloss is really sheer, so sheer it's almost like using clear lip gloss. Best of all, this is 100% natural and totally safe and chemical free. It retails for about $7-8, but when you compare that to MAC, this one contains 0.5 oz for just $7-8, and MAC lipglasses contain just 0.17 oz of product for double the price! Soi the value is great, and this moisturizes your lips and it isn't too sticky. It doesn't last as long as I wish it would but is still a great gloss.

Bare lips for reference!

...Burt's Bee's Super Glossy Lip Gloss in Sweet Pink

Clinique Strawberry Fudge Eyeshadow Duo Review and Swatches

Today I decided to review and swatch the Clinique Eyeshadow Duo for you. It is described as "a must-have golden pink parnered with a deep blushing brown" and that's pretty much exactly what it is. The link is... http://www.clinique.com/product/CATEGORY4898/PROD6984/Makeup/Eye_Shadows/index.tmpl and it's $18.00. For some reason the packaging I have is different, which is weird, because the duo I have is not old at all. But, oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter. Both of these are really shimmery, especially the golden pink, I realized how super shimmery it was after accidentally wearing it as a highlight color once. Oops. But both colors are really pigmented and a pretty high quality. And they're super long lasting, probably longer lasting than MAC's, but that's probably just because I don't use a primer. The colors go on really easily and blend well, which is nice, and generally the colors shown online are true to the colors I actually have in real life, which I like, because sometimes with MAC, even though I prefer MAC to Clinique, the colors shown online are definitely not true to the actual product. But this is, and I love that. $18 is, although it may sound expensive for an eyeshadow duo, pretty good. Clinique eyeshadows, duos or single shadows, las me a really long time and there's plenty of product. I have also found that just a little bit of this goes a long way. Now time for swatches!

Nicole by OPI Miss Independent/Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink Review and Swatches

Hi everyone:) Today I decided to pick a few products and do some reviews and swatches for my blog...the first products I chose were two nail polishes...I painted my nails today, using Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink for that glam nail trend thing...and I wanted to show you a few pictures as well as review the products.Let me just say that Sally Hansen Rockstar Pink, with no chipping at all, lasts me two days, while Nicole by OPI's Miss Independent lasted me much much longer at six days. Rockstar Pink was $2 while Miss Independent was about $8. Rockstar Pink does not go on very easily, but if you apply it correctly, in coats, the second after the first is totally dry, the results are really good and pretty. I apply two coats of Miss Independent for long-lasting, beautiful metallic color. With both I used Joan Rivers Beauty High Shine Top Coat. I find that both of these polishes look best on short-medium square shaped nails, but that is only my personal opinion. I think both of these are beautiful colors perfect for fall and winter! The brush applicator thing on Miss Independent came apart from the black top...but I emailed Nicole by OPI and they are replacing it by mail, which is pretty cool. Both colors are beautiful, like I said, and I so reccomend them. Oh, and Rockstar Pink is actually my sisters. I borrowed it. With permission, don't worry. Now it's time for the fun part...the swatches!

3 Most Romantic Moments - PLL Season 2

Anyone else who has watched the summer half of the second season of Pretty Little Liars knows that there were plenty of drool-worthy romantic scenes between the four main PLL couples... Ezria, Emaya, Haleb, and of course, my favorite, Spoby. I've picked the top three most romantic scenes...in my opinion, anyway, and decided to blog about them. I picked my three favorite couples (Haleb, Ezria, Spoby, sorry, Emaya) and one romantic moment from each...I'll try to attach video clps if I can of these...one of them actually made me cry :')
3. From episode 2, The Goodbye Look, Ezria. It's Ezra's last day as Aria's teacher, and he delivers a last-day speech, which is actually about how much he loves Aria and how she's changed his life. then, Aria races down to the school parking lot while Ezra is packing his car, and they kiss, quite passionately. Sorry for the bad video quality!
2. From episode 12 Over My Dead Body, Spoby. So, A made Spoby break up and now Spencer is at the police station being accused of Alison's murder. now, Toby comes to see Spencer and while being held back by two police officers, says "i don't care about what you can't tell me, I care about you! I love you! Do you hear me? I love you!' Meanwhile, Spencer walks away holding back tears. It doesn't sound romantic, but watching Toby say I lover you over and over while being held back by two police officers...it's pretty sad.
1. From episode 9 Picture This, Haleb. this is the scene that made me cry...Caleb tells Hanna that he's going to California to see his mother, and they have to say their goodbyes...luckily, Caleb eventually does come back, but this episode is really said and filled with "I love yous." This video is the best I could find... but then here's another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA0ABYsZ3hg

My Favorite Books!

A while back, I did a YouTube video called "Preparing for Summer - My Favorite Books" after macbarbie07 had done it. To this day, that is the video with the most views, over 6,000 and still counting. I thought I'd do another one of those, blog form, and ofcourse, not "Preparing for Sunmer, but just, in general, my favorite books. I picked three that I LOVE, and don't worry, I didn't repeat any from a certain series, but guess what? If one of thse on my list is part of a series, odds are good that I just reccomend the entire series. These are in order from my fifth favorite to my number one. I hope you decide to check out these books...some of them actually made me excited about reading!
3. That Summer by Sarah Dessen
This book is about fifteen year old Haven - she's nearly six feet tall, still growing, her father's getting remarried, and her sister Ashley is also getting married. Haven is having a toughtime getting used to all of these changes, but then one of Ashley's old boyfriends comes back and reminds Haven of all of those seemingly perfect summers.
2. Never Have I Ever by Sara Shepard
This is the second novel in the Lying Game series. Emma Paxton is still looking for her twin sister Sutton Mercer's killer, and she has a numbeer of suspects, such as the Twitter Twins, who she believes to be Sutton's murderer(s) - Sutton's killer keeps telling Emma about a "train prank" which is revealed to be when Sutton drove a car and got it "stuck" on top of a train track when a train is coming, and Gabriella, one of the Twitter twins, ends up in the hospital. By the end of the book, it is revealed that Gabby and her twin sister, Lili, are both completely innocent and they just wanted to be part of he Lying Game all along.
1. Twisted by Sara Shepard
No doubt about it, this is my all-time favorite book, number nine in the Pretty Little Liars series, which are, my nine favorite books eve. But I'm only letting myself blog about one per series. But seriously, this book is so dang good. It continues the storyline from the eighth book, Wanted, after Ali sets the house on fire trying to kill them. TYhe Liars were in Jamaica on vacation after the Ali incident, and they pushed a girl they believed to be her off a building, killing her. Aria's jealous of her boyfriend Noel's new exchange student, blonde, perfect Klaudia from Finland. Hanna's father is running for Senator, and Patrick, a, "photographer" has racy photos of her that he'll release, ruining Hanna's father's campaign, if Hanna doesn't give him $10,000. Spencer has a crush on her son-to-be stepbrother, and Emily is doing whatever it takes to get a swim scholarship, plus it is revealed that she had a baby girl and that's why she had quit swimming. A is back and threatening them with all of these secrets.

Neutral vs. Colorful Eye Makeup

Generally I wear the same makeup each day, my neutral eye with Clinique's Naked Lunch as a highlight and the brown color of Clinique's Strawberry Fudge duo all over my lid. See, because I have like no crease. I do. When I open my eyes, I have a crease. Then I close them and it seems to disappear. It's really weird lol...so generally I just stick with those two colors...both of them, like I said, neutrals - Naked Lunch a sand color, and the brown one a chocolate-y color...with brownn eyeliner and black mascara. My everyday eye look is super simple. And by everyday, I mean, every day. I don't tend to change my eye look throughout the week, sometimes I'll add a little bit of purple on the inner half of my lid and blend it....but generally I don't. I don't think that on me, colorful eyeshadows are very flattering. I like the bronze look,, a pretty bronze eye with girly pink lips. Colored eyeshadows, I just do not like them whatsoever, maybge it's because I haven't really tried a decent color eyeshadow, I've tried Ulta, which I absolutely hate the quality of. Maybe if I try a MAC I'd like it better? Color shadows don't appeal to me that much at all. But I LOVE neutral bronze eyes. Like I said, pretty pink lips! That's it.

MAC Underage Lipglass

I changed my mind. Again. Now on my wishlist is MAC Underage Lipglass - I've read some reviews and seen swatches, and this one is pretty close to being exactly what I want - nude, baby pink with a little bit of shimmer. This one is very pretty on its own, which is another plus for me, not having to buy a lipstick to go underneath in order to get the baby pink shimmer look I want. This lipglass is described by MAC as a soft pale pink with a subtle shimmer.Yes, Stila Lip Glaze in Grapefruit, as well as Nars Lipgloss in Turkish Delight are both still on my mind, but ultimately this is the most affordable option. Although this does contain parabens and this is a gloss I will most likely wear everyday if I end up purchasing it, I don't really think it's going to make that much of a difference, after all, this is only one of the very very few products I have that do contain parabens, which, if you did not already know, parabens are chemicals that have been linked to breast cancer. However, this color is so so pretty and I don't think I'll be able to find a dupe fr a better price very easily and I am definitely willing to give MAC Lipglass a shot. I have tried MAC makeup (Eyeshadow in naked Lunch) before and it is a very ver good quality. I really hope to try out this lipglass soon because it is so so pretty and I really want to try this out! If I find a more affordable drugstore option I may go with that, but for right now this is top on my lip product wishlist! Thanks for reading if you did, I know I've blogged about lip products very frequently lately, hope you don't mind that, hahaha! But, thanks for reading, and I'll talk to you guys later! xoxoxo http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/166/309/Tinted-Lipglass/index.tmpl

This picture doesn't look like the swatches I've seen...the swatches are more pink and shimmery!

Victoria's Secret Pink Pretty and Pure Fragrance Mist Review

A few weeks ago, I was able to go to Victoria's Secret and pick up a pair of underwear (lol) because... I had a coupon for a free mini mist along with any VS Pink purchase (one of the perks of being a part of Pink Nation) So, I bought the most inexpensive thing, underwear for $8.50, and got a free mini ist, valued at around $8. I got the scent Pretty & Pure, which is described by Victoria's Secret as "a delicate blend of pure jasmine and pink lemonade" - this one definitely does smell like it's description. This one smells yummy however unfortunately this mist does not last for more than a couple of hours and I have to reapply often. The scent is very pretty and sweet and girly, everyone always says that I smell good when I spray this. I just spray lightly on my wrists and rub together. I like to keep this in my locker for yumminess at school, as soon as I run out of this I will definitely go and buy the full sized bottle because this smells so good, even if I have to reapply. I guess that could be a good thing if you have like, a habit of accidentally spraying too much? Hahaha but I really like this body mist it smells quite nice, maybe if you tried the Eau de Toilette the scent might linger around for a bit longer. http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265581686918&c=Page&cid=1312942972399&pagename=vsdWrapper

Foodie Review: Pretzel M&Ms

Today I got a chance to try, for the first time, Pretzel M&Ms. I got a box at my local dollar store for, obviously, $1, because I've been wanting to try these - I love M&Ms, and I love pretzels, so if I put the two together, then I'd ought to love them, right? Yes! Pretzel M&Ms are really yummy and I LOVE them! They are really big and for $1 I would say I got quite a few and I love them - they taste salty, sweet, and crunch all in one bite, just like the box promises. These are so yummy and chocolate pretzel-y! Not quite as yummy as a chocolate pdipped pretzel, but pretty close to it. They have the perfect combo of sweet and salty and you can definitely taste both parts - the M&Ms and the pretzel...yummy! It's like chocolatepretzel heaven! I will probably be buying these again because they are so so so amazing and I'm happy I got the chance to try these! Very very tasty and mouthwatering, yum! http://m-ms.com/us/about/products/pretzel/

Happy Birthdayyy - Battle of cakes!

Hi everyonee...So, don't you remember when  I used to blog not about set topics so much, and by that I mean like certain fashion trends and certain products, but more just random, what's going on in my life type things? Guess what? today I'm doing another post sort of like that, because I like doing those and thought it wuld be nice just to take a quick break from all of that and talk about a little of what's going on in my life, because my real life is not something I discuss in great detail on my blog or my YouTube..I post things that somehow relate to me on my Tumblr, so go check that out if you want... http://www.hersheykiss723.tumblr.com but generally, I don't discuss my life with you. Well, guess what? Today I will be. So I hae a friend who's birthday is today...I don't know if any of these people want me to say their names so I'm just going by L, D, and A. L's birthday is today, so happy birthday, ly, even though we haven't talked in a while. Then I have another friend, who's more of a guy friend, whose birthday is tomorrow. And then happy birthday to another friend whose birthday is Tuesday. Well basically I'm gonna talk about the dude whose birthday is tomorrow... like three of the peeps at my lunch table are also good friends with him and we're all gonna make him cakes and he'll decide what one he likes best by doing a blind taste test on Monday. I'm bringing just a piece of red velvet with cream cheese icing, my personal favorite. Another friend, S, is making chocolate with chocolate, another friend, also S, is making a surprise cake. So I don't know what it will be. And then E is making something I forget. Sigh. mine had better win. I'll update you guys on that...

Stila Lip Glaze Trio - Cool

As sson as I finished writing my previous post, I realized that I so have to try out this trio! The colors are so pretty and I think that for just $12, this is a very good value for three, even if they are not full sized. The colors, are all so pretty, I would probably use Grapefruit and Seashell more often than Raisin, but Raisin is still really really pretty. Hopefully I'll be going to Ulta soon to get this set..it is so pretty and a great value;)

Lipgloss. Again.

I'm thinking about lipgloss, again, wanting a nice lipgloss that I still have yet to get. I have tried Burt's Bee's which is nice but very sheer and not too shimmery and Bath & Body Work's Liplicious which I love the shimmer, but not the taste or color, and the one I have is Strawberry Lemonade. I have tried a few higher end lipglosses and I seem to like those a lot better. I tried Lancome's Juicy Tubes in the color Spring Fling - it was so so pretty and I absolutely loved it...but unfortunately I lost it when I had it in my boot at my science fair. I have also tried Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Raspberry. That was when my mother had taken me to the Clinique counter when I was about nine, back when my lips got super dry. The lady at the counter reccomended that and she let me pick the color I wanted. Of course I was nine so I opted for the brightest most obnoxious color, Raspberry, and I liked the gloss, but I think it was too dark for me, and I didn't like the scent. I've tried Christian Dior Rouge Dior Creme de Gloss in 255. And I've tried Clinique's Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Air Kiss, and I loved that color quite a bit. So, I haven't really tried as many lipglosses as other people, and as far as lipstick goes...well my mother would wear lipstick everyday, and the shade that she always wore was a darker color. I had the idea that all lipsticks were dark colors, and I personally am looking for a sparkly sweet bubblegum pink color. Actually, if my lips were the exact color of Nars Turkish Delight lipgloss in the tube, I'd be like the happiest girl in the world. But they're not. Recently I have been looking at lipsticks online though and I really would like to try MAC's Pretty Please. But anyway, right now, I'm just thinking about a lipgloss that would make my lips look sparkly and pink and kissable. And preferably one that smells amazing (I think that's half of why I liked Juicy Tubes so much) that doesn't plump (My lips are full enough on their own) and possibly something that is safe and chemical free and with natural ingredients. However, I know that finding a lipgloss that in my eyes is absolutely perfect would be very difficult and most likely impossible. I've thought of a few options here, and I want to know - if any of you have tried these lipglosses, do you like them, or do you not like them? Why/why not? I'm trying to eliminate possibilities here and find one that is right for me, without being overly expensive. I really really like the Nars Turkish Delight lipgloss, but at $24, I do not think that would be something I'm willing to spend so much money on. I have a few options here - Nars Turkish Delight - if it really is as good as everyone says it is, I might have to try it out for myself, no matter the price. Then I was thinking of trying MAC's Tinted Lipgloss in Oyster Girl or Illicit. I've looked up swatches online in hopes of finding a lip color I can look forward to buying. I'm also thinking about trying some of the lipglosses I've already tried, specifically Clinique's Long Last Glosswear in Air Kiss or Lancome Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling. But in order to get the exact color I want I definitely think I would also need a lipstick, such as, MAC's Pretty Please.Another option would be Stila Lip Glaze in Passion Fruit. I am also thinking of trying the Stila Lip Glaze Trio - Cool which is just $12 and comes in three pretty shades - Grapefruit, Seashell, and Raisin. I think that this would be something that could eventually end up on my "I-Have-to-Have-It" list...hahaha! I've heard great things about Stila lip products and ultimately think that this would be what I would go for!

Lady Antebellum's Own the Night: My Thoughts and Favorites

Of course, the very day the album came out, I had to buy it on iTunes. The album was $9.99 for 12 songs - We Owned the Night, Just a Kiss, Dancin' Away With My Heart, Friday Night, When You Were Mine, Cold As Stone, Singing Me Home, Wanted You More, As You Turn Away, Love I've Found In You, Somewhere Love Remains, and Heart of the World. At first I listened to all of the songs and thought the album was not as great as it would be, but then I listened again more carefully and realized that I absolutely LOVE everything about the entire album, specifically the songs We Owned the Night, Just a Kiss, Dancin' Away With My Heart, Wanted You More, and Heart of the World. As I'm blogging right now I'm actually listening to Wanted You More - it's such a great song, like all of the others and I really do like these. Lady Antebellum is a great band and these leaves me excited to see what there next album will be like. This is for sure their best so far...it seems like with each album, they just keep getting better and better...as if that were possible! I will probably be doing a song quotes post from Lady A songs from this album. I LOVE it and it is definitely worth the $10.

Side Bangssss

Hihiii. I wanted to share with you this cute idea for side bangs...I found these super cute clips at JoAnns for only a few dollars! aren't they cute? And don't you love my skills on paint to cover my face? Hahahaaaa I'm a pig now.

The iPod Shuffle Challenge!

Hii everyone(: - I saw this on YouTube a long time ago and I never got around to finally doing it. So basically, you shuffle your iPod 5 times and talk about each song that's on your iPod, why you like it, what it means to you, etc. You all know that I absolutely LOVE music, so guess what? I thought I would do this fun little challenge!1. Speak Now by Taylor Swift- I think this one is a fun upbeat song about when your boyfriend tells you he has a new girlfriend, and you regret breaking up with him? Or if someone's getting married, and you're against it, and at the wedding you speak up. Like Hanna did in PLL episode 2x12!
2. Breathe by taylor Swift - It's kind of funny that I'm getting like all Taylor Swift songs...lol but I really like this song, it's a great slower song about having to say goodbye to someone you love. I've been faced with that situation before and I really really like it.
3. Viva la Vida by Coldplay - I'm addicted and obsessed to this one. I actually just recently "discovered" this one. But it's very catchy and upbeat. What is it about? This one, is confusing me. I suppose I would say that it's maybe about heroes or enemies. Fighting with your enemy - yes, that would be how I interpret it.
4. If You Can Afford Me by Katy Perry - This one, I really like and this one is also, catchy and fun and upbeat. To me, this song is about a highmaintence girl and she requires of her boyfriends! I like it though, it's really good and has a great tune!
5. F**kin' Perfect by P!nk - I really like this one. It's, to me, very inspirational and one of P!nk's best friends. I see it as a girl who's been tormented with cruel words her whole life. If I had to pick a song to stand up against bullying, this would for sure be it. I love this one(:

Okay, so that's it for my iPod shuffle challenge...I hope you all liked the songs that came uppp...

*I kind of cheated. But that's only because a song came up that I didn't even know was on my iPod and I haven't gotten a chance to even listen yet. Bwahaha.*

Wearing White After Labor Day... The DOs and DON'Ts

Hi everyone, lately, there has been a lot of talk on Yahoo and on fashion blogs on wearing white after Labor Day and whether you're "supposed to" and how to wear white and what colors to wear with white after Labor Day and so forth. Hopefully this blog post will help you if you're trying to decided what to do! Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is with the whole no white after LD thing. White is a color, like any other color. Yes, white may have a summery feel to it, but I don't see what's wrong, not wearing it afterward. And as I just mentioned, white is commenly known as more of a summer color when it comes to clothing. Well, technically, summer does not end until September 21st on the Autumnal Equinox. Not that that really matters...unless you wanted to get technical. But generally, I would say, where what you want! What do other people care? Girls at my school wear white after LD all the time! So a defnite do: Wear what you want. If you want to where white there's no one stopping you! However, I do not reccomend wearing white excessively as you might wear denim. If you really want to go ahead, I'm not saying you can't. Personally, that's what I go by as far as bottoms go, like shorts, jeans, capris/crops, etc. But for tops, I really don't pay attention, I wear white tops all the time, I don't, like I said, I don't pay attention when it comes to white tops. I actually think that white is most people's most flattering color. Especially when worn o top. White bottoms, however, are a different story with me. Maybe, every now and then I will wear white on the bottom, but usually no, because really, the only white bottoms I own are a pair of really short shorts. So generally I avoid those in the winter months, lol. But basically, that's it. I really don't know who started this strange fashion "rule" - don't feel you have to always follow these fashion "rules" - I don't see the point of them! Wear what you want! So if you want to wear white after Labor Day, I do, my friends all do, so by al means go ahead :)

Lady Antebellum "Own the Night"

Okay, so one of my favorite bands of all time, well, probably my favorite band of all time, is releasing a new album on Tuesday September 13th, called Own the Night and I am really really excited to check out this album. Lady Antebellum posts preview clips of each song on their YouTube, so check it out at http://www.youtube.com/LadyAntebellum so check it out! So far, four songs have been released on iTunes that will be on this amazing album - Just a Kiss, We Owned the Night, Dancin' Away With My Heart, and, most recently, Wanted You More. I really really like them all they are definitely still #1 on my list of top bands. All of these songs are mazing, Hillary and Charles and Dave are all very talented. I definitely noticed the instrumentals in all of their sons which is very unusual because I usually don't pay attention to things like that. But I love them! I really do love love love all of the songs I've heard they are some of the best Lady A songs yet! I will definitely be purchasing the album on Tuesday morning ASAP. Their songs are really addicting and Wanted You More is actually stuck in my head right now, hahaha. I really really love all of these songs and I think they are totally amazing, and as you can probably tell, I am very very excited for the release of this album! To go to the official website, the page on this CD, please click here: http://ladyantebellum.com/media/music/own-night This album, like I said is so so so AMAZING! And I really hope you all check it out! Now here is one of their songs, We Owned the Night, one of my favorites:)

That New Nail Trend.

So maybe you've noticed, but there's this new trend that's really in. (Well, obviously, because it's a trend lol) but I tried it out and I really like it. It would be painting your ring fingers one bold color, usually a metallic color or a glittery color or like a super bright color, and then all of your other nails a solid color that doesn't look much like the color on your ring finger, yet it still goes. There was an article in J-14 magazine about this trend recently and I've seen it on a few celebrities. I actually decided to try it out and I did my ring fingers with Sally Hansen's X-treme Wear Nail Polish in Rockstar Pink, and all my others I did them in Nicole by OPI Miss Independent. Rockstar Pink is a multicolor glitter color with blue and pink glitters, yet it is not sheer after a few coats like most other glitters would be. Miss Independent was made to look like you had metal on your nails, this is why it is in the Liquid Metals collection. It's a super pretty pink silver color, and it's really light and I think it would be flattering on all skin tones and types. This trend is very pretty, I've also seen it with like that bright, perfect-for-summer-pedicures pink with a metallic gold, such as Nicole by OPI's The Next CEO, on the ring finger. This is a super pretty look for anytime, and I am in love with it I hope you guys will try out this nail trend. thanksss<3

Book Talk: Never Have I Ever

Hi everyone. So I was thinking I would do a Book Talk on my YouTube about the books in the Pretty Little Liars series. Well I wanted to do a book talk on my blog too, but for the book Never Have I Ever, which just came out on August 2nd and is the second book in the Lyiong Game series, a series written by the same author, Sara Shepard, that wrote Pretty Little Liars, which is, as I'm sure you know, is by far my absolute favorite. But anyway, I just recently got this book a few days before school started on September sixth. So, technically I guess I should wait until I finish the book, but I really really really really love the book and I really really really really wanted to just do it now because I'm super excited about it, as you can probably tell, hahaha.Like I said, this is the second book in this series, the first one is just called The Lying Game, and I actually did a book talk on my YouTube, so you can go check that one out. I definitely think that this second book is much better than the firstone, not the the first one wasn't good, it's just that this one is so so much better. I still love the first one though. But basically, I'm going to say in advance, this will have spoilers in it, if you haven't read the book yet and/or don't want to spoil this for yourself, you do not have to read it! But anyway, here goes: So, I'm not going to give a full complete description of every little thing that happens, just some of the basics, if you want a longer more detailed description of the plot, youcan Google it, I'm sure you'll be able to find a longer plot description more than once. But basically, the story pretty much starts where it left off inThe Lying Game, Emma still looking for her twin sister Sutton's muderer. Ethan, and also Sutton's killer, are the only ones that know she's actually Emma rather than Sutton. So, basically the important things would be that there was a train prank, where Sutton, when she had been alive, and made the car "break down" on the train tracks with a train about to come. Gabby, one of the "Twitter Twins" ended up in the hospital. Now, both Emma, and also a dead Sutton, who is narrating, think that the Twitter Twins, Gabby and Lili, are Sutton's killers. Sutton and Ethan find out that Gabby and Lili have secret Twitter accounts, @gabbyponybaloney and @misslilytallywhacker - idk if those are real or not. But they seem to be talking about what might of been Sutton's murder. Emma and Etthan also discover that there was a sleepover, where Nisha and also Gabby and Lili were on the night that Sutton, assumably, disappeared. So when Emma, Madeline, Charlotte, Laurel, Gabby, and Lili go on a camping trip, Gabby and Lili play a prank on "Sutton" which makes Emma believe she killed Gabby, the prank is as revenge for the train prank. It is revealed that Gabby and Lili probably had nothing to do with Sutton's mrder. Also, when "Sutton" goes to pick up her car after it is fixed because of the train prank, someone had already checked it out. Oh, and Emma and Ethan end up kissing. So basically, yes, I realize I left quite a few things out, but, those are a few of what I think are the most important. I rally do like this book. It's interesting and I'm like, addicted to it lolll. I really do love it though, it's super good, if you're interested in this, I reccomend reading the first book first, oviously, it might make more sense, lol. But like I said, I really enjoyed the book and if you read it then I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you for reading this post! xoxo<3

My Favorite Stores!

Hi everyone, today I decided to pick my top three fvorite stores to shop for clothes, and talk to you about why I like them and their clothes! This is in a random order.
1. Abercrombie - I always love the classic, prettystyle of everything Abercrombie. I personally find the fit (usually) very flattering and everything always has the prettiest details and patterns and there are so many cute things there. The price is a little bit more expensive than shopping at like Target, but everything is really pretty and cute and I definitely think that it is worth it.
2. Forever 21 - Everything at Forever 21 is really really pretty and girly yet super inexpensive. Meaning, you can feel pretty without spending a ton of money on things you don't need to spend that much money on! Forever 21 sells a ton of different styles of clothing, and also pretty jewelry! I personally love the rings there which are really really inexpensive yet still really pretty.
3. Victoria's Secret Pink - Yes, I've blogged about this one, and I know I'm getting kind of obsessed. Yes, I understand I only have six things from there, but I love them. First off, I absolutely love the color pink, and the style of the store, I love going in there. So far, the things I've gotten have been super great quality, although the price is kinda high. The underwear there all really comfortable in cute patterns and I really like them. The tote bags are perfect for a school bag and t-shirts are always a must!Super awesome store.

Thank you for reading this and I'll talk to you guys later! xoxo

Back to school...my thoughts and opinions!

Hi everyone! I haven't blogged in almost a week, and that would be because on Tuesday I went back to school. I never mentioned, but last weekend I went on vacation so then after that I had to unpack and get ready for school, I couldn't blog Tuesday because I had some homework, Wednesday was my sisters dance class and I had to write a paper on the qualities of a good student, yesterday was Thursday, I had my dance class, then I had to go to like an hour and a half of community service because its required where I live at the age I am. And I havento go back later tonight and also tomorrow morning. Sigh. Well anyway, I wanted to tell you some of my opinions on my new school year and what's been going on and basically just an update. So, I went to school Tuesday it was raining so I didn't end up wearing my dress. I'll get to that outfit later. But basically, I really miss last year. I had all my friends on my team, the best teachers ever, a few friends in my homeroom, a, um, crush. That maybe sorta likes me back. And all that fun stuff. This year is a lot different. I do like some of my teachers, mainly just my algebra teacher, history teacher, and French. My science teacher is really annoying and her class is boring. I'm in her homeroom. And it SUCKS. So, basically, I have no friends in my homeroom, so when she let's us talk basically I just sit there like a friendless loser. Sigh. Then my English teacher, he is gonna make us read Mac Beth. BLAH. And he's making me sit with this kid that doesn't exactly have the best hygiene habits if you know what I mean? Sigh. I really miss last year. At least I have a few classes with some of my friends and we have the same lunch luckily. I think that I won't like school as much as last year. Like last year I LOVED school. Like once my mother wanted to go on a day trip so she tried to convince me to skip school. I actually put up a fight to go to school. And it wasn't like the trip would've sucked or anything... There was a Vera Bradley outlet there. Sigh. But basically I want to go back to last year.

✿ Taylor Swift Song Quotes ✿

Hi everyone, I was looking through some of my old posts, and my most viewed post so far is my Lady Antebellum Song Quotes post that I did a while ago. I personally am a music-aholic, and I believe there is a song foe every situation. There are some of those days where you just wanna sit back, put your earphones in and scream FTW. I totally am like that, and love music so much. So today, well, tonight, I thought I'd blog some quotes by another one of my favorite artists, which would be, of course, Taylor Swift. Since a lot of people seemed to be loving the ten Lady A quotes, I thought it would be nice to do twenty-five T Swift song quotes. These will be from any song, the quotes may be long or short, they are in a random order, there may be 2+ quotes from each song! One of these isn't actually a TS quote, but it's song by someone else that features her. Back to School: Fun Pencils/Pens

Hi everyone. So last year, I did a school supply video showing you all of the school supplies I had bought. Well, I got a lot of comments on my channel and on that video talking about one of the pencils I had mentioned and loved I also got some on this other video that I mentioned them in. I've recently been watching other YouTube videos talking about back to school supplies and organization, and apparently, these pencils are quite popular. Personally, these are my favorites, these are the only pencils I'll use, with the exception of a regular #2 pencil on things like Scantron and tests like that. But if I have to use pencil, for example, I know sometimes you're required to use pencil in math. Last year pencil wasn't required but the year before that it was, and this was the pencil I used. This pencil is absolutely amazing. I bought a two pack of these in the beginning of the year. I used these pencils a lot, and with the purchase of one lead refill thing, as it already comes with one, these pencils lasted me the entire year. They are very strong, sturdy, and definitely long lasting pencils, that come in fun colors and are easy to use. They feature a fun jumbo twist up eraser, which actually lasted me for the whole year last year. If you do a ton of erasing it may not, but for me it did and always has as I don't do a lot of erasing, and I did use pen about 40% of the time. This has a very comfortable grip as long as a button in an easy to reach location on the pencil that pushes more of the lead out. This requires 0.7mm lead and like I said, very pretty colors, super long lasting, different from other mechanical pencils, the main reasons I really like this one. These would be the Papermate ClearPoints, and they are a bit more expensive, but considering that they lasted me all year, I definitely think these are worth the price!!! Another thing would be pens, and the pens I use, I have to have five different colors. I have seven perids throughout a school day, lunch and study, a related arts class, nd five core classes, and for those I like to have a different colored pen for each. I really like the Papermate Gel Pens. They are $5 for a pack of five at Target in all different colors. they write extremely smoothly and the ink dries relatively fast compared to other gel pens I have tried, which is great if you're looking for a gel pen that won't smudge. This comes in two different packs - the one I got had light blue, purple, pink, green, and orange. I really do think that not oly do colors make the paper you're writing or studying more interesting to lookit, but they also help me to stay organized. Also, these pens are pretty good if you want something that won't bleed through your paper. Check out http://www.papermate.com/Pages/products/gel-pens.aspx for more information on them! I also like to keep a Sharpie in my bag at all times. this year I actually have a metallic ine but any darker color will work. Ise this to label things - the sides of my binders, book covers, etc! I absolutely love shopping for school supplies and things like this - it's very fun! thanks for reading this, I hope you'll try out these amazing writing utensils. If you've tried anything, leave a comment below, or you could leave a comment if you have any additional reccomendations. xoxo(:

Back to School: What's In My School Bag? And Organization Tips!

Hi everyone! I'm so so so excited for school to start. I actually like seriously legit do love school, for three reasons, mainly - it gives me a chance to get out of the house, rather than sit there all day, I get to see my friends, and, of course, SHOPPING. That would be, clothes shopping, but also, something else I have a secret obsession with, is school supply shopping. As soon as I saw glamourista16's video on YouTube, I decided that I absolutely totally had to do this video. I'm going to wait until after I start school though so I can show you what's in my bag after school has started and during the school year, and I want to be able to show you like, some of my notes and point out a few tips I reccomend trying in order to have the best school year yet. But, if you didn't know, I am a total shopaholic, meaning, I love shopping for just about anything. There are a few exceptions, but school supplies and fun things like that are definitely not one! I cannot wait to do this video, but for now, I'm going to give you guys some tips and tricks I've found help me have a very successful year. Oh, and I'm going into my last year of Middle School, for anyone wondering. But these are just some tips that worked for me, they are miscellaneous - some hacve to do with studying, some have to do with tests/quizzes, some have to do w homework, using your time wisely, etc. etc. etc. So, here goes...♥ Note Taking: Take your notes for each class in different colors. In the beginning of the year, assign each class a color, say, French is pink, Algebra is Orange, etc. It makes studying so much more interesting, at least for me, because I'm not staring at a page full of boring old pencil. Also, it helps you stay organized - you know what's what!
♥ Organization: Similar to that above tip, color coordination really helps you stay organized. For example, get like a purple binder, notebook, folder, and pens for say, History, and it'll make it easy when it comes time to go to that class, you'll know exactly what you have and what you need!
♥ Homework: Never, ever procrastinate. It's always best to start working on homework and projects the day they're assigned. Say you have a huge project, due in two weeks. If you're a procrastinater and wait until the day before, the project will most likely turn out much worse than it could've been, causing your grades to, after a while, drop significantly, which is never good!
♥ Homework: Keep a planner or agenda with you at all times! This was my lifesaver last year. I wrote down all my homework assignments, projects, tests, quizzes, after school activites, etc. And with that, I never missed a single thing! My planner was my lifesaver, and really helps me to remember things!
♥ Studying: So, say you have a test in say, French, in eight days. Divide the material you need to know by seven, study one seventh each night. On the night before the test or quiz, review everything! This helps you by not cramming a ton of information into your brain at once.
♥ Locker Organization: If you can find a locker shelf that will fit into your locker, BUY IT! This was something that really helped my stay organized. It provided an extra shelf for my books/notebooks/folders/etc. and helped me know where all my things were. I also sorted things by class on it, for example I put all my French stuff together, all my Geography stuff together so when it comes time to go to that class, I could just grab it and go!

Okay, so I hope you find those tips helpful. I've done several posts before about what's in my school bag, so go check those out if you're interested, but I definitely will be making a YouTube video on this, showing you what I like to keep in mine, as well as even more study tips, and if I'm allowed to film at school during my "break" which is called study at my school,  then I will try and do a locker organization video or locker tour, but I don't think that will be possible. I will try though. Thank you for reading this, and good luck1 xoxo
